Jamie Adkins has a great idea for a show – he just doesn't quite know what it is. Every crumpled-up sheet of paper he tosses away only makes this rubber-faced clown more determined to get his creation domn on paper. Then one of those balls of paper bounces right back at him! This turn of events finally coaxes the Chaplinesque playwright away from his typewriter and what ensues is a non-stop barrage of hilarious escapades and amazing feats of silliness. Egged on by the melodies of a roving musician-comedian, Anne-Marie Levasseur, Jamie holds on for dear life at the top of a splitting ladder, wrestles with his own bulbous red nose, and flips and somersaults across a slack wire.
Company affiliated to Cirque Éloize, Theatre T & Co. is a new dynamic company committed to creating and producing quality circus-style productions. The first project to emerge from this is a show orchestrated and presented to the public by Jamie Adkins, a rising star in the circus community.
