After moving thousands of audience members during its 2019 premiere at Théâtre St-Denis, Serge Fiori – Seul ensemble returns in a revamped version.
True to its art of transforming the intimate into a performance, the company revisits the world of Serge Fiori with sensitive boldness. Under the direction of Benoit Landry, the staging has been reimagined, the sets recreated, and the scenography enriched to accompany the work’s evolution.
Music remains at the heart of the show, approached from a new angle through arrangements by Louis-Jean Cormier, Alex McMahon, and Guillaume Chartrain. Kwe, a musical project dear to Serge Fiori, naturally finds its place alongside the songs that have stood the test of time and brought generations together.
Music, movement, and imagery come together in a dialogue driven by a unique artistic vision, to resonate, differently and more powerfully, with the legacy of an essential artist.
