The 74th edition of the Festival les Nuits de Fourvière is currently being held in the heart of Lyon, France. Since 1946, the Festival takes place annually from June to July at the Théâtre Antique de Fourvière in the 5th arrondissement of Lyon.
From June 1st to July 30th, 2019, festival-goers will attend a multidisciplinary cultural Festival that showcases performing arts such as theatre, music, dance, opera and circus. Each year, more than 130,000 festival-goers attend various outdoor performances at the Grand Théâtre Antique (4,400 seats) and at the Odéon (1,200 seats).
As part of the Festival, Cirque Éloize presented its latest creation on tour, HOTEL, for the very first time in France. It was also the first time that pre-show preparations were made in front of an audience and that the show was performed in an outdoor theatre. A total of 6 shows were presented to festival-goers at the Grand Théâtre from June 17 to June 22.
