Eight Cirque Éloize acrobats featured for the first time in the show, Art on Ice, in Switzerland

Art on Ice is the biggest figure skating event in Switzerland. The show combines the performances of the best figure skaters in the world with international music stars. In its first collaboration with Art on Ice, Cirque Éloize has created the design and staging of the acrobatic portion of the show under the direction of Frédéric Bélanger and acrobatic coach Nicolas Boivin-Gravel. 8 circus performers will join the cast of world-class dancers and skaters.

This year, singer/songwriter James Blunt and the Swiss queen of pop and soul, Stefanie Heinzmann, will appear live on stage. Surrounding them, the troupe of Cirque Éloize will present, in keeping with its tradition, creative, modern numbers that oscillate between humor and poetry.

This show, which is very popular with the Swiss population, will be presented in Zurich from February 7 to 17, in Lausanne from February 12 and 13, in Davos from February 15 and 16, and in Basel on February 17. Each performance will be given in front of approximately 10,000 spectators, and the show will also be televised.  Art on Ice offers a show filled with magical moments combining music and breathtaking performances by top athletes. This fusion of disciplines creates a perfect symbiosis which gives birth to a unique event that is even more special this year with the arrival of Cirque Éloize acrobats.
