Wrapping up a Hot Summer

Cirque Éloize’s Smash Summer!

After an amazing summer, we’re in the mood to celebrate the success of our productions.

Imagined and created by Cirque Éloize and presented in an exclusive residency at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth from February to August 2022, Celeste was the result of a collaboration between the two sectors hardest and longest hit by the pandemic: hospitality and the performing arts.

The creative spirit and synergies that brought Celeste to life also helped revive downtown Montreal from its lockdown slumber. The show provided work for over one hundred people, including creatives, artists, technicians, food service professionals and merchants, and attracted more visitors to the city despite the pandemic.

Downtown Montreal was also the backdrop for the 3GÉANTS project. As part of the Montréal Complètement Cirque festival, the project featured brand new shows from Quebec’s three biggest circus companies, Cirque Éloize, Les 7 Doigts and Machine de Cirque.

On the other side of the Atlantic, Plage au Cirque enthralled the young and young at heart with three performances daily from July 16 to August 28 at Futuroscope, western France’s legendary family theme park.

A little further afield, the 70-strong Éloize Entertainment team, including 40 Quebecers, travelled to Kuwait to present the opening ceremony of the GCC Games to 5000 in-person spectators and a television audience that stretched across the Middle East.

Back in Quebec, Entre Ciel et Mer captured the hearts of Magdalen Islands audiences with an evening of stories and legends featuring storyteller Cédric Landry.

Now it’s the turn of our Studios team to take up the baton. In addition to organizing corporate events at historic Dalhousie Station, our technicians and artistic directors are preparing to unveil new mapping that will offer a host of new and original experiences in our studios.
