Below the Arctic Ice extented until March 13

Exhibition extended until March 13

Due to the great success, our outstanding immersive exhibition is extended until March 13, 2022 at the Québec City Convention Center. In the Old Capital, this evolving exhibition covers an area one third larger than that of Montreal and immersion is further exploited with the creation of a life-size base camp, where visitors – particularly the youngest ! — can sit on the snowmobile, enter the tent, handle the equipment, take pictures, etc. In addition, life on the ice will be highlighted as well as the human aspect of the experience.

In addition to public and critical success, the exhibition is now officially supported by UNESCO‘s « Ocean Decade », an international program that seeks to stimulate ocean science and knowledge generation to reverse the decline of the state of the ocean system and catalyze new opportunities for sustainable development of this massive marine ecosystem. The exhibition also counts on valuable partners, including Destination Québec, the Hôtel Champlain, the NFB and the Carnaval de Québec. Below the Arctic ice with Mario Cyr, the ideal family outing before or during spring break, while respecting public health measures.
